QBOX Scripts

Qbox scripts are resources for servers running Qbox and its core resource qbx_core. Qbox grew out of QBCore and builds on the ox resources such as ox_lib and ox_inventory. Most listings here are multi-framework scripts that carry ESX and QBCore tags as well: phones and tablets, HUDs, dispatch and MDT, housing, garages and dealerships, banking, admin tools, jobs and activities.

Framework compatibility

Qbox provides a bridge for documented, correctly used qb-core exports and events, so many QBCore resources run without conversion. The Qbox FAQ names exceptions: scripts that access core database tables or internal files directly, or use unsupported functions, may need changes. A QBCore tag alone does not prove that a package runs on Qbox. A Qbox tag means the listing claims support, often through a config switch; check the install notes. Our Qbox vs QBCore comparison and the Qbox framework guide cover the bridge and migration.

How to choose

Match the stack first. A script written for qb-inventory or qb-target needs its inventory and target settings checked on a server that runs ox_inventory and ox_target, even if the framework calls work. Item names, images and stash setup differ between inventories, so add the script’s items to your inventory before launch.

Then check data. Scripts that ship SQL or query core tables directly are the ones the Qbox FAQ warns about; back up and test them on a copy of your database. Check the exact resource version, its dependencies such as ox_lib, and install one script at a time on a test server before changing your live setup. To adapt a QBCore-only script yourself, see converting scripts between ESX, QBCore and Qbox.

FAQ

Do QBCore scripts work on Qbox?

Many do through the bridge, if they use qb-core as documented. Direct database access and unsupported functions are the documented exceptions, so test before launch.

Which inventory should a script support on Qbox?

The one your server runs, usually ox_inventory. Check the listing and config for it, not only the framework tag.

Should I move from QBCore to Qbox for these scripts?

Not for scripts alone; most listings here also carry a QBCore tag. Read Qbox vs QBCore for the bigger decision.
