FiveM F8 Console Commands: The Documented List
Every command here is checked against the official Cfx.re command pages. See which need developer mode, which belong to the server console and which are unverified.
Start with the symptom you can reproduce. These guides help you collect useful logs, separate client and server causes, change one thing at a time and confirm whether the problem is resolved.

A diagnostic guide for resources that do not start: read the first console error, match it to a cause, confirm it and fix it, with sources for each message.

Do not start by deleting every FiveM folder. Record the exact error, decide whether it affects one client, one server or every server, and change one variable at a time. The same wording can have different causes, so this page maps symptoms to evidence rather than promising one universal fix.

“You lack the required entitlement” means the server is not authorized to start that protected resource. Check the resource entitlement, owner account and active server license together before reinstalling files.

For a FiveM connection failure, keep the exact error and check whether you can join another server. A refused connection, timeout, whitelist rejection and resource-download failure require different fixes.

“Could not find game executable” means FiveM cannot use the GTA V installation it expects. Confirm the installed game edition and its actual folder through the game launcher before changing files.

When FiveM remains on a loading screen, first determine whether the failure affects one client, one server or every player after a resource change. Preserve the exact screen text and console error, test one known-working server, and change one reversible cause at a time. Do not begin with undocumented security convars or a blanket deletion of application and server data.

For a FiveM crash, save the exact crash message and identify when it happens: before launch, while joining or during a specific action. Change one relevant cause at a time and test the same situation again.

“FXServer is not responding” means txAdmin’s monitor cannot obtain the expected response from the game server. Check whether FXServer is running, listening at the configured endpoint and able to finish startup before changing firewall or resource settings.

Use txAdmin’s FXServer console output for resource errors and its administrative action log for staff actions. Record the incident time and active profile first so you search the correct server and log generation.

VDM usually means Vehicle Deathmatch: using a vehicle to attack another character without the roleplay justification or initiation required by the server. A collision alone does not establish VDM; accidents, desync and permitted pursuit tactics need context.

“Failed to Inflate” means data could not be decompressed. Record the complete error and any named file or resource before clearing cache or changing server settings. The same phrase can come from different causes.

To speed up a FiveM server, identify whether the slow work is script execution, database access, resource downloads or client rendering. Keep a repeatable measurement before changing code or hosting.

For texture loss in FiveM, first determine whether it affects one client, one location or many players. Missing textures, missing collision and low FPS can appear together, but they do not necessarily have the same cause.

Debug a FiveM problem by reproducing one symptom, finding the first relevant error and changing one cause on a test server. Keep the last working files and matching database available before touching production.
A FiveM ban is an access decision, not a cache error. Read the notice to identify whether it comes from one community server or the Cfx.re platform, then use that authority’s review process. A VPN, cache deletion or a purchased “unban” tool is not a reliable resolution.

Resmon shows client resource execution cost and memory signals. Use it to identify a script worth investigating, then reproduce the same action with the profiler. It does not measure server database time, download speed or total GPU rendering cost.

Protect the actual FiveM TCP and UDP connection upstream with your host or network provider. A local firewall helps control exposure, but it cannot restore a link already saturated by traffic.
