FiveM Police Scripts: Choose a Job, Dispatch and MDT

By Luke

Choose FiveM police scripts by the responsibilities your department needs to cover: officer actions, dispatch, records, evidence and jail. Some resources combine several of these. Before buying a job, a dispatch and an MDT separately, decide which resource will own each function and how the others will connect to it.

The documented examples below serve different purposes. Wasabi Police V2 is a police job with additional systems, CD Dispatch provides a dispatch layer, and TK MDT V2 provides records and departmental interfaces. They are candidates to investigate, not a tested bundle or an overall ranking.

Map the responsibilities

FunctionDecisions to make
Police jobWho handles duty, cuffs, searches, escorting, armories and vehicle access?
DispatchWho creates alerts, selects recipients and records responding units?
MDTWhere are reports, warrants, charges and vehicle records stored?
Evidence and jailWhich system preserves evidence identifiers and applies or ends a sentence?
Station and accessWhich MLO is installed, and who controls its doors, storage and interaction points?

Use one authoritative owner for each action. For example, issuing a charge should not independently trigger two fines or two jail timers. Bundled modules may be sufficient; an external replacement needs a documented way to disable or hand over the overlapping function.

Documented options to compare

Wasabi Police V2: a job with configurable supporting systems

Wasabi's V2 documentation describes persistent station setup, cuffing and search workflows, evidence collection, internal dispatch and jail features. It names ESX, QBCore, Qbox and OX framework bridges.

The dependency guide lists ox_lib and oxmysql, then distinguishes optional integrations from the internal systems. It also says that running wasabi_mdt transfers dispatch and panic handling to that MDT. This is useful evidence for planning which resource owns those actions.

Investigate it when you want to configure several police functions around one job resource. Confirm whether the package under consideration is V2 or the separately documented V1 line. Features and dependencies from one should not be assigned to the other.

CD Dispatch: a separate alert workflow

The CD Dispatch documentation for cd_dispatch covers alert integration, unit status, keybinds and optional exports. Its integration instructions explain that existing alert calls need replacement and that triggering the same notification through both client and server paths can create duplicates.

Consider a separate dispatch when your police job and records system already meet your needs, but officers need a different alert workflow. Build a list of every event source, including robberies, emergency calls and panic buttons. Check each one against the chosen dispatch interface. The cd_dispatch3d documentation is a separate product path; match instructions to the resource you actually select.

TK MDT V2: records and departmental permissions

The creator's MDT V2 description documents configurable departmental MDTs, action logs and permissions for reading, writing and deleting pages. Its published configuration separates phone, housing, dispatch and jail integrations.

That is worth investigating if your main requirement is organizing police or EMS records and access. Verify the specific framework and adapter versions with the creator. A named integration does not prove compatibility with every fork or that your existing report database has a converter.

Questions that narrow the shortlist

  • Which exact framework, inventory, voice, jail and dispatch releases are supported together?
  • Do the exact job, dispatch and MDT releases support your GTA V edition? Check the Cfx.re Legacy/Enhanced migration requirements, including current Asset Escrow availability, for every required resource.
  • Can bundled dispatch, evidence or jail features be disabled when another resource owns them?
  • Does job access include duty and grade checks, and are permissions enforced beyond the visible menu?
  • Which reports, warrants, evidence links and images can be migrated from your current system?
  • Which integrations can you edit, and how do you carry those edits through updates?
  • Does the station setup match your exact MLO, including doors, garages and evidence lockers?

Use precise resource names in these questions. “Supports QBCore” is incomplete when your server uses a modified inventory, a custom jail and a different voice implementation.

Test a complete incident on staging

  1. Back up the relevant files and database. Identify the tables for records, evidence, jail state and station configuration before applying SQL.
  2. Create an incident with an officer, a suspect and another officer observing. Confirm one alert reaches the intended on-duty jobs and points to the incident location.
  3. Respond, cuff, escort and search using ordinary characters. Test restrictions with an off-duty officer and a lower grade.
  4. Create a report and attach identifiable test evidence. Reconnect and restart, then check that the report still refers to the correct character and evidence.
  5. Apply a fine or sentence where configured. Verify one charge and one sentence, then test release and reconnect behavior.
  6. Change permissions and confirm that restricted actions remain blocked. Check the resulting audit records where provided.
  7. Repeat using each configured department and station. Resolve duplicate alerts and overlapping actions before replacing the live resources.

A suitable police setup is one your officers can use consistently and your developers can maintain. Choose the combination after the complete workflow passes, including permission and persistence checks.
