Advanced Police Job (gl-police) is a police job for ESX servers. It covers the interactions officers use every day, a job menu, placeable props, surveillance cameras, an evidence system, a dispatch menu and many interactive details inside the station.
Police interactions
- Cuffing: hardcuff (hands behind the back) or softcuff (hands in front); cuffed players have a visible handcuff item on their character.
- Escorting with an arm-hold animation; the escorted player's legs move instead of floating.
- Put in / out of vehicle:
/piv puts a player into a vehicle (up to three people in the same vehicle), /out takes them out.
- Dragging:
/drag drags a player, alive or dead; press S to move backwards.
- Billing:
/bill ID amount; all funds go into the police society fund.
Police job menu
- View the roster of all officers (also off duty) with callsign, name and rank.
- Change callsigns, promote, demote, fire and hire new officers by player ID.
Props and items
- Placeable cones and barricades (add them to your armory).
- Riot shield, used together with a pistol (equip the pistol first). Its collision can push cars.
- PD cam: place a spy camera anywhere, name it and view it from the surveillance room on the second floor of the station. Cameras for the Fleeca banks and the Jewelry Store are already included.
- Vehicle cam: place a spy camera in any vehicle and view or remove it from the surveillance room.
- Fingerprint kit, evidence bag and DNA swab.
Evidence system
- Collect bullet casings; analysis shows the caliber and where it was collected.
- Collect blood pools left by seriously wounded players and compare them with DNA swabs.
- Collect fingerprints from vehicles (not if the suspect wore gloves), and from robberies or doors you set up with an event.
- Fingerprint arrested suspects at the processing desk to add them to the system.
Dispatch, duty and restocking
- Dispatch menu at the station computers (dispatch job or police): see all on-duty officers, send them direct messages and GPS waypoints.
- On-duty officers see each other's blips with callsign; colors per rank are configurable; EMS blips are supported.
- Automatic restock when going on duty: any items, amounts and prices you choose, paid from the police fund (configurable).
Firing range and station details
- Firing range with weapons from the config, static targets at 5, 10 and 20 meters and moving targets, with a score based on damage.
- Sit on every chair in the station, take food and water from the break room fridge (configurable), grab fire extinguishers from the wall.
- Lockers for storage and clothing change, set up for ox_inventory and fivem-appearance; other FiveM inventory mods or clothing scripts can be added through your own exports.
- Shower to remove blood, and wash your hands.
