Origen Police Alternatives: ADS, Wasabi and CD Dispatch

By Luke, RPScripts

There are two different ways to replace Origen Police: choose another police job, or replace only the part that is causing trouble. ADS Police and Wasabi Advanced Police Job are candidates for the job layer. CD Dispatch is an alternative for alerts while you retain a separate job and records system. None of those choices should be described as a drop-in migration of Origen's reports, evidence and prison data.

This guide covers the Origen Police QBCore package identified as 2.3.6 in our listing. It is a source-based comparison checked on 1 November 2026, not a hands-on test. RPScripts sells the linked products. The broader police-script category includes jobs and specialist add-ons, so filter by function as well as framework.

ADS Police as a job replacement

ADS Police is a candidate when you want to configure the job and station layer around your own department. The current package description identifies version 1.1.1, external ads_core, ox_lib and oxmysql dependencies, and selectable inventory and billing integrations. It describes station, custody and camera configuration rather than a ready-made setup for every police MLO.

Compare required actions one by one: duty, grade permissions, armory access, cuffs, searches, vehicle interactions and release from custody. Inspect the station coordinates and item names. If your current reports are stored by Origen, choosing another job does not by itself preserve those reports or make an external MDT understand their schema.

Wasabi Advanced Police Job: match the version you can buy

The linked Wasabi Advanced Police Job listing identifies V1 1.10.6, not Wasabi Police V2. It describes ESX and QBCore police-job replacements, configurable police locations, cuffs and interaction workflows. Its required wasabi_bridge and the package-specific settings must be checked against the supplied release.

The creator publishes V1 documentation separately from the V2 line. Do not assign V2's dispatch, MDT, evidence or installation claims to this older shop package. A broad framework tag also does not establish native Qbox support for every branch of V1. Ask about the exact adapter you intend to run.

CD Dispatch when you only need better call handling

CD Dispatch is the narrow alternative when the job works and the problem is alert routing, call presentation or responding units. It does not replace Origen's police job, evidence, MDT or prison. Confirm that Origen can hand over or disable its own alert flow before introducing another dispatch.

The Codesign installation and integration guide documents alert replacement and warns against triggering the same alert through both client and server paths. List every producer: robberies, panic buttons, emergency calls and third-party jobs. Replace and test each path once. Do not assume that two resources integrate merely because both say QBCore.

Preserve records before changing the stack

Inventory the data you need to keep: officer and character identifiers, reports, warrants, fines, evidence records and attachments, custody state and departmental permissions. Record the source table and destination field for each. No verified automatic converter is established by the package descriptions used in this comparison.

Keep the current resource available until you have tested the conversion and a restoration of the old files and database together. A fresh-install SQL file can create destination tables; it is not proof that it migrates existing cases or preserves relationships. Decide explicitly what to archive if the new system cannot represent an old record.

Choose by the missing responsibility

For a new QBCore department, the QBCore police buying shortlist compares ADS, Origen and CD by their role in the stack. For separate job, dispatch and records systems, use our police stack guide. A free qb-policejob baseline can also be enough if your actual requirements are already met.

Questions before purchase

  • Which exact framework release, inventory, targeting resource and game edition does this package support?
  • Can the overlapping dispatch or prison component be disabled without breaking the job?
  • Which editable adapters and dependencies are included, and which must be obtained separately?
  • Who supports integration with your MDT, evidence storage and jail?
  • Can you rehearse the switch with two ordinary characters and restore the old department before launch?

The right alternative reduces the work needed to run your department reliably. Replacing a whole stack to fix one alert path may cost more configuration and migration work than a focused integration repair.
