KQ Shell Builder FiveM resource preview

KQ Shell Builder

  • QBOX

Description

KQ Shell Builder by KuzQuality is an in-game tool for building your own interior shells on a FiveM server. You open the builder with a command, lay out floors, walls, doors, stairs and decor tile by tile, and save the result to the database. The download is the full bundle: kq_shellbuilder, kq_shellbuilder_props and kq_link.

Features

  • Shell creator menu opened with /shellcreator (configurable)
  • Tile-based building of floors, walls, doors, stairs and decor, with a gizmo, camera controls and undo
  • Custom wall and floor textures: add your own diffuse, normal and spec maps in the custom_textures folder (up to 100 wall and 100 floor slots)
  • Configurable prop limit per shell and hold-to-paint editing
  • Optional shell thumbnails in the shell list when screenshot-basic is installed
  • Option to show or hide shells made by other users in the menu
  • UI colors fully adjustable in config.lua
  • Two example shells included as SQL (cozy_apartment, big_workhop)

Requirements

  • kq_link (included; must be started before this resource and named exactly kq_link). It links the builder to ESX, QBCore, QBOX, ox_core, vRP, TMC or a standalone server.
  • kq_shellbuilder_props (included props resource)
  • oxmysql, ghmattimysql or mysql-async
  • Optional: screenshot-basic for thumbnails
  • The core files are protected by the FiveM Asset Escrow system (/assetpacks)

Installation

  • Copy the kq_link, kq_shellbuilder_props and kq_shellbuilder folders from the package into your resources folder and configure kq_link/config.lua for your framework.
  • The table kq_shellbuilder is created automatically; you can also import _installation_extras/kq_shellbuilder_table.sql manually.
  • Add setr game_enableDynamicDoorCreation "true" near the top of server.cfg.
  • Add ensure kq_link, ensure kq_shellbuilder_props and ensure kq_shellbuilder to server.cfg, in this order.
  • If you use an anti-cheat, whitelist kq_shellbuilder so it can create objects.
