FiveM guides, server setup and resourcesPage 8
Guides, comparisons and news for FiveM server owners.
How to Fix the FiveM Required Entitlement Error
“You lack the required entitlement” means the server is not authorized to start that protected resource. Check the resource entitlement, owner account and active server license together before reinstalling files.
FiveM Server Upvotes: What They Do and How to Measure Them
FiveM server upvotes are an official visibility mechanism for the Cfx.re server list. They may improve placement and discovery, but they do not repair poor onboarding, crashes, weak retention or an unclear server identity.

Warehouse MLO for FiveM
Warehouse is the dev_warehouse map released by Dev04 on the Cfx forum. The original release links to the same Cfx-hosted ZIP previously listed here, so the archive can now be traced to its release thread. Dev04 describes a two-room interior with three entrances at 898.1000, -1033.4728, 34.9669.
What Is Power Gaming in FiveM? Meaning, Examples and How to Avoid It
Power gaming is forcing outcomes on other players or claiming unrealistic ability in FiveM roleplay. Learn the attempt-vs-result test, examples and how to report it.
How to Clear FiveM Cache Safely
To clear the FiveM client cache safely, close every FiveM process, open %localappdata%\FiveM\FiveM.app\data , rename the cache directories instead of deleting them, then launch FiveM and retest the same server. A cache reset is a diagnostic step, not a universal FPS boost. It will not repair a broken server resource, an unsupported client mod, a driver problem or an incorrect GTA V installation.
How to Diagnose a Failed FiveM Connection
For a FiveM connection failure, keep the exact error and check whether you can join another server. A refused connection, timeout, whitelist rejection and resource-download failure require different fixes.
How to Fix “Could Not Find Game Executable” in FiveM
“Could not find game executable” means FiveM cannot use the GTA V installation it expects. Confirm the installed game edition and its actual folder through the game launcher before changing files.
FiveM Infinite Loading Screen: Diagnosis and Fixes
When FiveM remains on a loading screen, first determine whether the failure affects one client, one server or every player after a resource change. Preserve the exact screen text and console error, test one known-working server, and change one reversible cause at a time. Do not begin with undocumented security convars or a blanket deletion of application and server data.
FiveM Crash Help: Find the Cause Before Reinstalling
For a FiveM crash, save the exact crash message and identify when it happens: before launch, while joining or during a specific action. Change one relevant cause at a time and test the same situation again.
How to Fix “FXServer Is Not Responding” in txAdmin
“FXServer is not responding” means txAdmin’s monitor cannot obtain the expected response from the game server. Check whether FXServer is running, listening at the configured endpoint and able to finish startup before changing firewall or resource settings.
How to Find and Read txAdmin Logs
Use txAdmin’s FXServer console output for resource errors and its administrative action log for staff actions. Record the incident time and active profile first so you search the correct server and log generation.
How to Use FiveM Mods Safely
“FiveM mod” can mean four different things, and they are not installed in the same place. Identify the package type from its documentation before copying files. Randomly placing archives in the FiveM application-data folder can break updates or violate a server's rules.
How to Ban or Unban a Player with txAdmin
Use txAdmin’s player management to ban the correct player from your community server, recording the rule, reason and duration. This is a server moderation action; it does not create a global Cfx.re platform ban.
How to Change the Bridge Image in a FiveM Loading Screen
To remove a bridge image from a FiveM loading screen, first identify whether it belongs to your custom loading resource or to the client’s own connection interface. CSS in your resource can only change the page that resource controls.
What Does VDM Mean in FiveM Roleplay?
VDM usually means Vehicle Deathmatch: using a vehicle to attack another character without the roleplay justification or initiation required by the server. A collision alone does not establish VDM; accidents, desync and permitted pursuit tactics need context.
How to Configure and Test a FiveM Whitelist
A FiveM whitelist admits approved players and rejects others during connection. Choose one documented admission mechanism and test approval, rejection and revocation before enabling it publicly. A Discord membership check and a reviewed player application serve different purposes.
