Guides, comparisons and news for FiveM server owners.
Stream add-on clothing as a named collection whose drawable, texture and metadata names agree. Keep clothing assets separate from the appearance menu that selects and saves them. Renaming files without updating collection metadata can break both display and saved outfits.
Linux is usually the better FiveM server choice for an operator already comfortable with Linux automation; Windows is often the safer choice when a required tool, resource or support workflow depends on Windows. There is no defensible universal claim that one uses a fixed percentage less CPU or RAM. Test the same FXServer artifact, resources, database and workload on the hardware you may actually deploy.
A recoverable FiveM backup pairs the database with the matching resources and configuration. Prove it by restoring that pair on an isolated server and checking player state after a restart.
Start with the exact resource you want to change. Read its fxmanifest.lua, configuration and documented exports before editing. Record the installed QBCore and resource revisions, copy the configuration and database to a private test server, and change one behavior at a time.
Find Scrapper13’s Charger SCPD release, check NON-ELS sound changes and distinguish its Story Mode installation from FiveM setup.
Install Beverly Hills Mansion 2.1 with the custom_maps DLC or Menyoo XML files. Check required props before considering a FiveM conversion.
Set up rz-gym for QBCore with its bundled skill resource, buff dependencies and item hooks. Review progression and server validation.
Check guelo000’s known object-rotation issues, Map Builder Pro dependency and single-player setup scope.
Find zxack’s original Mafia Boss Mansion scene, its Map Editor setup and the discontinued Savehouse dependency before using this legacy GTA V mod.
Install Fury Nailbat as a FiveM resource, register WEAPON_FURYNAILBAT in ox_inventory and check inventory delivery, labels and weapon behavior.
Resmon shows client resource execution cost and memory signals. Use it to identify a script worth investigating, then reproduce the same action with the profiler. It does not measure server database time, download speed or total GPU rendering cost.
Set up Brave’s QBCore backup alerts, match the resource folder and InteractSound files, and review server-side permissions and cooldowns.
Install ShopFusion’s builder map resource in FiveM server data and check streaming, collisions and job integration before opening the site.
Review Suzuka’s current 1.5.2 vehicle DLC, required metadata edits and optional textures. Separate the supplied single-player setup from FiveM conversion.
Install 1evolve-garbagejob with its actual ESX and ox dependencies. Review collection routing, prop handling and server reward validation.
Find kristg’s original Sunset Coast Mansion, load its XML with Map Editor and distinguish the showcased cars from the map package.
Load DarkStormer’s Luxury Party Mansion with the correct Map Editor XML variant. Follow the included loading-point image and check dynamic doors.
Set up ED Armor with ESX and ox resources. Check vest drawables, item consumption, monitoring gaps and the archived source before deployment.
