The best FiveM scripts in 2026 are the ones that fit your framework, start cleanly next to your existing resources and stay editable when you need to change them. Pick the framework first, then one resource per job (inventory, target, phone, HUD, dispatch), then a source you can trust with your server. The examples below are a shortlist to investigate, not an independently tested ranking. RPScripts, which publishes this guide, sells the linked resources. If you are starting from an empty server, work through the essential scripts checklist for a new server first.
Each framework ships or recommends its own base resources. Scripts you add later have to talk to these, so check them before you shortlist anything. The table lists what each framework's core repository, manifest or official txAdmin recipe uses (checked November 2026).
| Layer | ESX Legacy | QBCore | Qbox |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core resource | es_extended | qb-core | qbx_core (also provides qb-core) |
| Database | oxmysql | oxmysql | oxmysql on MariaDB (MySQL is not supported) |
| Shared library | esx_lib | none required by qb-core | ox_lib |
| Inventory | esx_inventory | qb-inventory | ox_inventory |
| Target / interaction | none in the core set | qb-target | ox_target |
| Phone | none in the core set | qb-phone | npwd with qbx_npwd |
| Voice | none in the core set | pma-voice | pma-voice |
Two consequences matter when you buy. A paid resource has to support your inventory and target resource, not only your framework name: a "QBCore" script that expects qb-target needs a bridge on a server that runs ox_target. And because qbx_core provides qb-core, a QBCore script that only calls qb-core can start on Qbox, but anything that touches inventory, target or items still needs the ox_* adapter. Our Qbox and QBCore comparison covers the migration side. pma-voice declares OneSync as a dependency and states it does not work alongside other voice systems, so install exactly one voice resource.
Use the rows as a checklist for the integration work, then compare candidates in the matching category.
| Category | Example to investigate | Check for your setup |
|---|---|---|
| Phone | LB Phone v2 | MariaDB 10.11+, oxmysql, voice adapter, phone item and inventory. |
| HUD | JG HUD | ox_lib started first, OneSync Infinity, fuel and voice integrations. |
| Police / dispatch | Wasabi MDT & Dispatch | Its bridge resource, department configs and alert sources. |
| Interaction | AC Target | PolyZone, the qb-target compatibility layer and overlapping prompts. |
| Inventory | LS Inventory V2 | Runs on ls-core; plan item, stash and shop migration. |
| Banking | okokBanking | ESX only, mysql-async, society accounts and added user columns. |
| Housing | S4 Housing | ESX only, routing buckets, stash adapter and garage size. |
| Jobs | Advanced RepoJob | Menu, target and inventory choice, items and vehicle keys. |
| Vehicles | 0r CarControl | Its bundled 2na_core, keybinds and overlapping vehicle menus. |
For a phone, LB Phone v2 lists ESX, QBCore, Qbox and standalone support; the LB Phone setup guide walks through the database and voice steps. JG HUD is a configurable option among FiveM HUD scripts. Police servers can start from Wasabi MDT and Dispatch or read our QBCore police script comparison. If your scripts still call qb-target exports, AC Target ships a compatibility layer. ESX servers can compare okokBanking and S4 Housing with the rest of the ESX script catalog; inventories are collected under FiveM inventory systems, and framework-specific lists exist for QBCore scripts and Qbox scripts.
Read the installation documentation and fxmanifest.lua of the exact version you receive; the FiveM script installation guide walks through the manifest, dependencies and SQL in order. In a Cfx.re manifest, a dependency must be started before the resource that names it, and constraints such as /onesync or a minimum server build are checked at start. Use the real resource folder names and document optional adapters separately; a generic "libraries, framework, UI" order does not replace them.
The LB Phone installation guide (checked November 2026) requires MariaDB 10.11 or newer and oxmysql, asks for up-to-date server artifacts and recommends loaf_bcrypt, started before the phone. The resource is named lb-phone, not lbphone. OneSync Infinity is optional but needed for some features such as AirShare. Read the SQL and version-specific migration notes on a copy of your database before touching existing phone data.
Record the artifact build, resource versions, configuration, player count, location and actions, and keep them stable while you change one candidate. Compare idle behavior and realistic active flows, including denied permissions, failed transactions, reconnects and restarts. For inventories and money systems, check that items and balances persist and that rejected actions do not change them.
The resmon console command shows client resource usage; server load needs a server-side look. The Cfx.re profiler records either side, so keep captures with the test scenario and compare them after a rollback. There is no universal idle budget, and a framework name, screenshot or clean start is no proof of compatibility.
Cfx.re publishes no buying guide for scripts. These are the channels you will meet, with the trade-off each one brings.
Asset Escrow is Cfx.re's system that lets developers protect code from being modified. It can encrypt Lua, YFT, YDD and YDR files. An escrowed resource only runs on a server whose license key belongs to an account that bought it, and the protected resource includes a .fxap file that must be copied with it. Developers choose which files stay readable (usually configuration) through escrow_ignore; everything else cannot be edited or fixed by you. That protects the creator, but it also means a bug, a framework change or a missing adapter has to wait for the creator.
RPScripts takes the other route: no escrow, so every file is open to read and edit, and a 30-day technical refund guarantee for verified, product-specific defects that support cannot fix. Whichever store you choose, compare it on three points: editable code, a written refund policy and a support contact.
