Description

SaltyChat UI (saltynui) shows an overlay screen when a player is not connected to SaltyChat. On servers that use SaltyChat for voice, players sometimes play without being connected and miss what others say; the overlay makes the problem visible at once, so they can reconnect.

  • Displays an overlay screen until the player is connected again.
  • Browser-based overlay that rescales to the screen resolution.
  • Client-side only; no framework needed, so it works on ESX, QBCore, vRP or standalone servers.

Installation

  • Copy the saltynui folder into your resources.
  • Add ensure saltynui to your server.cfg after SaltyChat.

How to install it

Installation

  1. Unzip the download into your server's resources folder.
  2. Add these lines to server.cfg, in this order:
    ensure saltynui
