izzy Radio script

izzy Radio is a radio script for ESX and QBCore servers. Your players use a radio item to join frequencies, save favorites, open their own password-protected channel and talk through your voice system.

Features

• Connect to any radio code in your favorites list
• Volume up and down buttons on the left side of the radio
• Open your own private channel, protected by a password. If the frequency is already in use, you cannot open a private channel on it.
• If you enter the wrong password when joining a private channel set up by someone else, you will not be connected
• Job channels: frequencies that only certain jobs can join, so a civilian cannot enter a police channel (examples for police/BCSO and ambulance in the config)
• Members view of the current channel
• Radio item required: players without the item are disconnected
• Radio prop in hand while using it, configurable default volume

Private channels are protected by a password only; the script does not encrypt voice traffic.

Requirements

• ESX or QBCore (Config.Framework: auto, esx or qb)
• Voice: pma-voice, mumble-voip or SaltyChat (Config.voipSystem, or auto)
• ox_lib and mysql-async

Installation

1. Import setup-files/sql.sql (table izzy_radio).
2. Add a radio item to your inventory and use setup-files/radio.png as its image.
3. Set framework, voice system and job channels in config.lua, then add ensure izzy-radio to your server.cfg.
