Dusa Chat

Dusa Chat is an open-source roleplay chat for FiveM with ESX and QBCore bridges. It replaces your chat resource and hooks into the existing chat events.

Features

• Built-in customization menu for the chat
• 8 different chat variations
• UI-based /me and /do displays with a smoothness setting and optional player names
• Dice and rock paper scissors games
• Quick-command shortcuts (for example me, do, ooc); a shortcut does not provide the command itself, so shortcuts such as revive or emotes need their own resources
• Emoji options and a typing sound
• Optional OOC chat and announcements (/ooc, /announcement)
• Job chats for police and ambulance, admin chat (/adminchat) for configurable groups
• Optional Discord log for me/do messages with your own webhook (keep it private)
• All Lua files are open source and editable

Requirements

• ESX or QBCore (bridge files included)

Installation

• Stop or remove your current chat resource and copy dusa_chat into your resources.
• Configure names, commands, job chats, admin groups and logs in config.lua.
• Add ensure dusa_chat after your framework in your server.cfg. No SQL is needed.
