FiveM Addiction Script

FiveM Addiction Script (aty_addiction) adds addictions for ESX and QBCore servers. Using certain items raises a player's addiction; if they stop, their need grows, and once it passes a danger level an effect is played. Players see their values in a small menu.

Features

• Three addiction types by default: alcohol, drug and cigar. You can add more in config.lua.
• Per addiction: title, danger limits for addiction and need, effect type (1–3) and how much addiction drops and need rises each tick.
• Addictive items, e.g. beer, whiskey, vodka, cigar, weed and meth, each with its own item type (drink, food or cigarette) and values per use.
• Healing items that lower addiction and need (e.g. water for alcohol).
• Menu opened with /addictions or the F7 key (both configurable).
• Configurable tick time, effect cooldown and player identifier (discord, steam or license).
• Admin command /resetaddictions [playerId], plus client events to add or reduce an addiction from other scripts.
• Player data is stored in the included database.json file, so no SQL import is needed.

Requirements

• ESX or QBCore (set Framework to "esx" or "qb")
• The configured items in your inventory

Installation

• Copy the aty_addiction folder into your resources.
• In config.lua, set your framework and identifier, and replace the entry in Admins with your own ID. The file ships with a pre-filled Discord ID that would otherwise have admin rights.
• Adjust addictions and items to match your inventory.
• Add ensure aty_addiction to your server.cfg.
