CL Spawn Selector Pro (QB)

CL Spawn Selector Pro is a spawn selection menu for QBCore servers. It replaces the qb-spawn step after character selection with a map-based UI and an in-game editor for spawn locations.

Features

• Spawn menu on a map image with custom location markers (icon, text and colors)
• In-game location editor; access for god admins and/or listed citizen IDs
• Spawn locations with coordinates, image and an optional special tag (e.g. "Job")
• Job spawn button that spawns players at a configured location for their job
• House spawns for qb-housing or ps-housing
• Light and dark styles, with optional automatic switch between day and night colors
• Optional admin count in the server stats and optional texture overlay

• oxmysql
• qb-housing or ps-housing for house spawns

Installation

Step 1: General usage

• Place the resource in your resources folder and make sure the folder is called CL-SpawnSelectorPRO (not CL-SpawnSelector-main).
• Import the included SQL file cl_spawnselector.sql.
• Set the editor permissions in config.lua.
• When you create a new location with the editor, add its data (coords, image) in config.lua under Config.Locations.

Step 2: Remove dependency

• Open fxmanifest.lua in qb-multicharacter and remove the dependency on qb-spawn (the README names line 36; the line can differ in your QBCore version).

Step 3: Modify prison

• In qb-prison > client > main.lua, find the event prison:client:Enter and replace it with the updated event from the included README, or add and invokingResource ~= 'CL-SpawnSelector' to the resource check inside that event.
• The README uses the name CL-SpawnSelector in this check. It must match the folder name of the resource on your server, so adjust it if your resource is called CL-SpawnSelectorPRO.
• Line numbers in the README (207/209) refer to a specific qb-prison version and can differ on your server.
