Description

With this ESX script you can tune your vehicle's stats, such as brakes and speed, from a laptop interface. Tunes are stored per owned vehicle in the database.

Features

  • Laptop interface opened with the tuning_laptop item
  • Change vehicle stats such as brakes and speed and save them with SAVE
  • Reset to default values with DEFAULT and then SAVE
  • Remove the tune from the car you are sitting in with /untune
  • Tune data is saved in a new tunerdata column in owned_vehicles

Requirements

  • ESX (es_extended)
  • mysql-async
  • Optional: esx_inventoryhud

Installation

  • Import item.sql. It adds the tuning_laptop item and the tunerdata column to owned_vehicles.
  • Place the tunerchip folder into your resources folder.
  • Add ensure tunerchip to your server.cfg.
  • If you use esx_inventoryhud, add tuning_laptop to Config.CloseUIItems in esx_inventoryhud\config.lua.

How to install it

Installation

  1. Unzip the download into your server's resources folder.
  2. Start these first (not included in the download): es_extended
  3. Add these lines to server.cfg, in this order:
    ensure es_extended
ensure tunerchip
