Three Card Poker (Casino)

Three Card Poker adds the GTA Online casino poker game to your FiveM server. The author rebuilt it from the GTA Online script, and it uses the casino table world objects, so it does not spawn its own props. You get an ESX version and a standalone version, both with unencrypted Lua code.

How the game works

Three Card Poker is played heads-up between the player's hand and the dealer's hand. After all ante wagers are placed, three cards are dealt to each player and the dealer. Players either fold or continue by placing a play wager equal to their ante. Hands are then exposed and wagers resolved.

The dealer's hand must be Queen high or better to play. If the dealer does not play, play wagers have no action and ante wagers are paid 1 to 1. If the dealer plays and the player loses, ante and play wagers are lost; if the player wins, both are paid 1 to 1; a tie has no action. The optional Pair Plus wager pays when the player's hand is a pair or better, regardless of the dealer's hand.

• Custom cameras when player cards are revealed; players can switch the camera with their default bind (V) instead of being stuck in first person

Configuration

• Add your own poker tables: place the table in your ymap and enter its position in the config
• Minimum and maximum bet per table (important for Pair Plus bets)
• Player decide time and other timings
• Payout multipliers can be changed, but the author advises against it because they would no longer match the table description

Requirements

• ESX v1 final for the ESX version (aquiver_3rd_poker), or the standalone version (aquiver_3rd_poker_standalone)
• A game build that includes the casino DLC pack. The animations and table models come from the casino build. If you cannot use that game build, you would have to stream the required files yourself, which is not covered.

Installation

• Choose one of the two folders and place it in your resources.
• Add ensure aquiver_3rd_poker (or ensure aquiver_3rd_poker_standalone) to your server.cfg.
• Set tables, bet limits and timings in config.lua. Config.Debug is set to true by default.

Known limitations

• Some sounds, such as the deck shuffle, do not play.
• On OneSync, players can occasionally stand up during the networked animation. The author notes that this does not affect bets or money.
• The resource is written for ESX callbacks; other frameworks need your own Lua adjustments. Test key binds and notifications on your server.
