Brutal Gym

Brutal Gym & Skills V2 (resource brutal_gym, version 2.6.0) adds gyms and a skill system to your ESX or QBCore server. Players train at exercise spots to raise their skills, and skills slowly drop again over time. You can use any gym MLO; the package includes a link to a free gym MLO in mlo.txt.

Features

• Three pre-configured gyms: Beach GYM, City GYM and Prison GYM, each with its own exercise spots, marker and optional blip. You can add more gyms and spots.
• Exercises: running, pushups, situps, weightlifting, yoga and pullups, each linked to a skill.
• Optional membership: require an item (e.g. gym_membership) per gym with a time limit, optionally removed on use. Leaving the gym area ends the membership.
• Six skills: Stamina, Running, Driving, Strength, Swimming and Shooting, each can be turned on or off and renamed.
• Configurable rate for sprint and swim speed increase, skill save interval and skill decay time.
• Skill menu via /skillmenu or the DELETE key (changeable in the keybindings).
• Optional skill-check minigame (taskbarskill) during exercises.
• All texts and notifications can be translated in config.lua; notifications can be swapped for your own in gym-cl_utils.lua.

Requirements

• ESX or QBCore (set Core in config.lua; other cores via the core folder)
• mysql-async
• Server build 5181 or newer, game build 2189 or newer
• Optional: Brutal Notify (sold separately) or your own notify, taskbarskill for the minigame

Installation

• Import databse.sql (creates the brutal_skills table).
• Place brutal_gym in your resources folder and adjust config.lua.
• Add ensure brutal_gym to your server.cfg.
