London Studios - Police Grappler

Police Grappler by London Studios is a standalone police bumper with a built-in grappler. Officers use it to end high-speed pursuits: the grappler disables the target's rear tyre and latches onto it to bring the vehicle to a stop. The idea is modelled on the tool used by law enforcement in the US.

Features

• Easy deploy: after setting up the grappler on the vehicle, you deploy it from inside the vehicle.
• Stop the target: the grappler latches onto the rear wheel via a rope; optional tyre burst and forced handbrake with a maximum speed afterwards (set in the config).
• Reloading: each grappler is single use, so you install a new one on the vehicle before the next deployment.
• Custom props: bumper, frame and wheel block models made for this resource.
• Command: /grappler install, /grappler deploy, /grappler remove and /grappler reset (command name and sub-commands configurable).
• Vehicle setup: define which vehicles can carry the grappler, with bone, offset and rotation per model.
• Permissions: standalone ace permissions, plus built-in job/group checks for ESX, QBCore and vRP.
• Translations: you can translate the resource into another language.
• Discord logging: set your webhook in the config to log grappler use.

Requirements

• Standalone; ESX, QBCore or vRP only if you want their permission checks
• The resource uses FiveM asset escrow (dependency '/assetpacks'). config.lua, cl_utils.lua, sv_utils.lua and the stream files are editable.

Installation

• Copy the grappler folder into your resources folder.
• Add your police vehicles and permissions in config.lua.
• Add ensure grappler to your server.cfg.
