    Description

    Gear-change animations for FiveM

    The supplied mt-gearanimv2-main resource plays a driver arm animation when the vehicle’s current gear changes. It observes the existing gear state; it does not implement manual transmission control or change gear ratios.

    Configuration and limits

    The client script supports left- and right-hand-drive animation choices, a vehicle-model blacklist and a configurable animation duration. The default /togglegear command enables or disables the animation. Motorcycles and bicycles are excluded by vehicle class.

    Included files

    The ZIP contains client.lua, config.lua and a FiveM manifest identifying the author as Talha and the resource as Gear Changing/Shifting Animation Script Version 2. The manifest declares Lua 5.4 and no framework dependency. Test the animation with your chosen vehicles before deployment.

    How to install it

    Installation

    1. Unzip the download into your server's resources folder.
    2. Add these lines to server.cfg, in this order:
      ensure mt-gearanimv2-main

    Checked: the one resource of this download.
