FiveM Drone Script

This is a remote-controlled drone for FiveM, made for police overwatch and surveillance. You don't sit inside it: you place the drone in front of you, stay at the edge of an incident and fly it in with the live camera on. It works standalone or with ESX.

Features

• Remote control: fly the drone with the keys below without getting in
• Live camera stream from the drone
• Night vision and thermal imaging, for example to search for wanted or missing persons, or to check how a fire spreads

• Permission checks: add your own permissions in sv_drone.lua (vRP, ESX or others)

Controls

• /drone – place a drone on the floor in front of you; run it again to delete it
• Arrow up / down – move forward / backward
• Arrow left / right – tilt left / right
• Page Up / Page Down – climb / descend
• Enter – toggle the live camera
• Home – toggle night vision
• Delete – toggle thermal imaging
• Insert – land automatically

Installation

• Get the downloaded .zip and copy smartdrone into your resources folder.
• Add ensure smartdrone to your server.cfg.
• Add permission checks in sv_drone.lua if only certain jobs should use it.

The drone model is streamed as a replacement for the frogger vehicle model, so the Frogger helicopter will look like the drone. Useful for FiveM police servers.
