ESX Hacking System

This is a hacking system for ESX. You don't need a special job: anyone with a hacking laptop can hack, earn XP and get access to new hacks as they level up. Everything runs through an in-game terminal.

How it works

At level 0 you can only hack a vending machine. Each hack gives XP. The next hack is stealing secret documents, which needs a USB stick and a second player. The hacker stays at the terminal while the second player goes into the police station, places the USB stick at the marker and waits until the hacker has downloaded everything, then takes the stick and leaves. The hacking point can be set anywhere.

With enough XP you can hack a vehicle by placing a hacking device on it. You can then track the vehicle, stop it, disable its brakes, see how many players are inside and how fast it is going.

• Level system: every action needs a certain level (for example level 5 to bug and track a vehicle, 6 to stop it, 8 to disable the brakes)
• Hack vending machines for a small amount of money and XP

• Hacking detection device to find and remove a bug from a vehicle
• Police count required for hacks and a blip for the police

Requirements

• ESX
• mysql-async
• mhacking, utk_hackdependency and utk_fingerprint

Installation

• Import EN.sql or DE.sql. It creates data_hackingplayer and hacked_vehicles and adds the items hackinglaptop, vehiclehacker, usbemty, usbsecretdata and removehackingdevice; check the items table structure of your ESX version first.
• Place the esx_hacking folder in your resources and add ensure esx_hacking to your server.cfg after its dependencies.
