House Robberies

A house robbery mod for ESX roleplay servers. Players break into houses with a lockpick, search loot spots quietly and try to get out before the owner wakes up or the police arrive.

Features

• House difficulty is set randomly per house
• Higher difficulty = more pins to lockpick and a higher chance of getting the same loot
• An NPC sleeps in the bed and wakes up at high noise levels in the room
• An AI dog may spawn outside the home as you leave and chase you (spawn chance configurable)
• Sound meter that shows the noise you're making
• Burgle a home with multiple people at the same time
• Inventory checks and dupe and exploit protection
• Police notifications, map blips and a "Press H to set waypoint" option
• Police can enter the property without breaking in
• Loot tables with items, weapons and money, set in the config

What's included

• robbery: the house robbery resource with items.sql
• lockpicking: lockpick minigame with lockpick.sql (adds the lockpick item)
• vSync: weather and time sync with extra events needed by the robbery script

Requirements

• es_extended (v1.2 or lower)
• mysql-async
• cron, mythic_interiors, meta_libs and esx_inventoryhud

Installation

• Import items.sql and lockpick.sql.
• Copy robbery, lockpicking and vSync into your resources folder and ensure them after their dependencies.
• Configure houses, loot and rewards in config.lua.

The original release notes specify ESX v1.2 or earlier and warn that most server-side code is obfuscated. Confirm the supplied version's authorization and framework requirements before installation.
