Custom chat interface for legacy ESX

The download contains the chatMG resource, with an HTML/Vue chat interface and Lua client/server scripts. It includes /ooc, /twt, /clear, /chat, /id and /help commands, message templates and command suggestions.

Requirements and setup

The supplied README identifies the code as mack_chat and requires es_extended and esx_identity. The server code also uses mysql-async and the legacy ESX shared-object event. Rename the resource to chat as described in the README, and review the existing chat setup before replacement.

The manifest references html/css/index.css and html/js/config.js, which are absent from the ZIP. The code includes Portuguese text. Integration and testing are required; this is not a verified drop-in replacement for every framework.

How to install it

Installation

  1. Unzip the download into your server's resources folder.
  2. Add these lines to server.cfg, in this order:
    ensure chatMG
