Core Evidence v2

Core Evidence v2 is an evidence system for ESX police roleplay. Officers pick up evidence at a scene, have it analyzed at a set location and read the result as a report. Criminals can destroy evidence once it has cooled down.

Features

• Evidence types: bullets, blood and fingerprints (fingerprints are searched for in cars)
• Blood splats on the ground when a player is shot (can be turned off)
• UV flashlight item (uvlight)
• Officers carry up to 3 pieces of evidence at a time
• Analysis at a configurable location with a configurable analysis time, then an evidence report in an HTML interface with clipboard animation
• Reports show data from the users table (by default first name, last name, job and sex)
• New in v2: rain removes evidence (can be turned off)
• New in v2: criminals can destroy evidence after a cooldown (300 seconds by default, when the evidence shows as warm)
• New in v2: evidence archive at a configurable location, where old evidence can be viewed or deleted
• Configurable job (police by default), minimum job grade, keys and all texts

Installation

• Copy the core_evidencev2 folder into your resources folder.
• Import core_evidence.sql. It adds the uvlight item and creates the evidence_storage table. The file starts with USE `es_extended`;, so change this if your database has a different name.
• Adjust config.lua (job, locations, times, texts). Report texts are edited in html/script.js.
• Add ensure core_evidencev2 to your server.cfg.
