Core CarSharing

Core CarSharing (core_carsharing) lets you set up car sharing zones on an ESX server. Vehicles slowly appear in each zone, and players can take one and drive to another zone (or anywhere, if you allow it) while paying a price for every minute. It is a simple way to give players transport across the map, for example from the hospital or the prison.

Features

• Car sharing zones with a center, size and spawn points; the default config includes zones near the hospital, at the beach, the airport, Sandy Shores and Paleto Bay.
• Vehicles spawn in a zone after a set time (20 seconds by default).
• Unlock fee (200 by default) and unlock key (G by default).
• Per-minute price while driving.
• Penalty for leaving a vehicle outside a zone, or optional deletion of badly parked vehicles.
• Damage penalty with a configurable damage threshold.
• Custom plate text for sharing vehicles (SHARING by default).
• Optional license check (dmv by default) and configurable map blips.
• The code is not obfuscated and is commented.

• esx_license (optional, for the license check)

Installation

• Copy core_carsharing into your resources folder.
• Set zones, prices and penalties in config.lua, and change the plate text to fewer than 8 characters.
• Add ensure core_carsharing to your server config.

No SQL file is needed.
