Complete Carplay (ESX)

Complete Carplay (version 1.3.0) is an ESX resource that gives your players a Carplay screen in their vehicles. Mechanics install Carplay into owned vehicles, and the settings are saved per plate in the database.

Features

• Carplay UI opened with the /carplay command or the K key; the UI can be dragged and resized
• Apps for messages, music, vehicle actions and trunk camera, each can be turned off in the config
• Vehicle actions stored per vehicle: headlights, interior light, windows, trunk, four doors, lock and cruise control
• Trunk camera with /trunk-camera or F7
• Music playback through xSound, with a song blacklist in the config
• Navigator with nine screen positions and optional current street display
• Installation by a mechanic job (/carplay-install or usable carplay item), or set Config.NoInstall so every vehicle has Carplay
• Optional phone item requirement; phone type setting supports gcphone, gksphone, dphone, highphone, quasar, chezza, npwd and roadphone
• Focus key to drive while the UI stays on screen, km/mph switch and optional ACE permission

Installation

• Drag and drop the complete_carplay folder into your resources server folder.
• Configure config.lua.
• Import complete_carplay.sql into your database. It creates the complete_carplay table, adds a carplayID column to owned_vehicles and adds the carplay item. The file starts with USE `es_extended`;, so change this if your database has another name.
• Install and ensure the requirements.
• Add the export to gcphone (see below).
• Add start complete_carplay to your server config.
