Description

Car Remote V2 is an ESX script that gives your players a car key fob on screen. They can lock and unlock their vehicle and turn the engine on or off from a distance, with matching sounds.

New car remote

  • Key fob interface (HTML UI) opened with a hotkey, which also locks the vehicle
  • Second hotkey to turn the engine on and off
  • Maximum remote range (30 by default)
  • Switch the connected vehicle when you are close to another one (distance configurable)
  • Car alarm with configurable distance and volume
  • Sounds for locking and unlocking from inside and outside, a police unlock sound, fob beep and chime
  • Locale file for your own texts

Requirements

  • ESX (es_extended)
  • mysql-async

Installation

  • Copy the carremote folder into your resources folder.
  • Adjust hotkeys, range and sound settings in config.lua.
  • Add ensure carremote to your server.cfg.

How to install it

Installation

  1. Unzip the download into your server's resources folder.
  2. Start these first (not included in the download): es_extended
  3. Add these lines to server.cfg, in this order:
    ensure es_extended
ensure carremote
