Audio Speaker Script

Placeable ESX speaker for synchronized music

This resource lets players place a speaker through an item or the /speaker command. Insert a YouTube link and it plays through a synchronized interface, so nearby players share the same playback state.

Features

• Synced sound and synced NUI for all players
• YouTube player for embeddable videos; some videos can't be embedded, whether copyrighted or not
• Pause, resume and mute playback from the NUI
• Distance-based volume around the placed speaker
• Pick the speaker back up after use; optional 3D text prompt

Example uses

• A party with music
• Quiet music for a funeral scene
• Jobs such as a car dealer playing music for their customers

Installation

• The archive has no resource folder; create one (e.g. kepo_speaker), copy the files into it and add ensure kepo_speaker to your server.cfg.
• Import esx_kepo_speaker.sql to add the speaker item, or use the /speaker command. To wire your own item, trigger TriggerEvent("kepo_speaker:place").
• The two on-screen texts in config.lua are in Turkish by default; translate them if needed.
