Advanced Animal Riding

Animal Riding lets your players own, train and ride a horse or a cow on your QBCore server. Before they can buy an animal, they finish three days of training at the Northern Animal Training School in Paleto.

Features

• Own and train a horse and a cow; progress is saved separately for each animal
• Training school with one session per real day; failed sessions can be retried for a fee
• Day 1: custom cutscene and 20 hurdle jumps with your animal
• Day 2: race against the NPC school owner Arnold through 20 checkpoints
• Day 3: pet, feed and clean your animal, then a final race up Mount Chiliad
• Training runs in an instance, so players don't get in each other's way
• Walk, run and jump with the animal, plus a minigame to stay on it
• Buy your animal after training and call it from anywhere with the /whistel command (name set in the config)
• Config for training and animal prices, jump force, run speed, school ped and locations, and all texts

Installation

• Copy the pug-animals folder into your resources folder and add ensure pug-animals to your server.cfg.
• Run animals.sql (creates the pug_animals table).
• Change the notification in open.lua if you are not using the base qb-core notification.
• The horse model is streamed in place of the a_c_deer model. Credits to Quechus13 for the free horse model.

Personal adjustments

There is a /horse command in open.lua that you can unhash to test the riding mechanics as a dev.
