AN Mechanic Job

AN Mechanic Job is a mechanic job for ESX and QBCore servers with vehicle diagnostics and repair, a mechanic garage, a crafting system and a boss menu.

Features

• Diagnose and repair vehicles in the garage, in repair areas (car lifts) or with a carjack
• Repair Kit and Advanced Repair Kit items for civilians
• Mechanic garage with configurable vehicles (tow truck, flatbed and burrito by default)
• Crafting system for tools and car parts from configurable materials
• Boss menu (the standard QBCore boss menu, or the qb-management boss menu)
• Whitelisted jobs control who can use the mechanic system (default: mechanic)
• Open source, no obfuscation or IP lock

Requirements

• ESX or QBCore, set with Config.usingESX
• On ESX with Config.useOXInventory enabled: ox_inventory (otherwise you need to add your own inventory code for the stash)
• Optional: an_progBar (free) for the progress bar, set with Config.useANProgBar

Note: the crafting server event trusts the recipe and item sent by the client and does not re-check the player's job. Add a server-side check against config.lua before using crafting on a public server.

Installation

• Add the items from the guide folder (esx.txt for ox_inventory, qbcore.txt for qb-core items and the mechanic job).
• Place the resource folder in your resources and add an ensure line to your server.cfg.
• Set Config.usingESX, whitelisted jobs, materials and crafting recipes in config.lua.
