Tuning System

Tuning System (frkn-tuning) is a vehicle tuning script for FiveM ESX and QBCore servers. Mechanics use a tablet to change handling values such as acceleration, top speed, brakes, suspension height and traction, and the police job gets its own tablet. A dyno prop resource is included.

Features

• Tuning tablet with a NUI interface for handling edits: acceleration, top speed, brake force, suspension height, traction and front drive bias
• Minimum, maximum, default and step values for every handling option are set in the config
• Tuned handling is saved per license plate in the database
• Mode menu (default key F4) that can be limited to a list of allowed vehicles
• Police tablet for the jobs you define (default: police)
• Open the tablet by using the item or with a key (default F3); optional job check for mechanics
• Items tuning_tablet, police_tablet, usb_tuning and suspension_controller with inventory images
• Dyno prop streamed as a separate resource (qua_dyno)
• Locale system with an English locale file

Requirements

• ESX or QBCore
• ox_lib
• A MySQL resource that provides @mysql-async/lib/MySQL.lua

Installation

• Copy the frkn-tuning and qua_dyno folders into your resources folder (the __MACOSX folder in the download is not needed).
• Import sql.sql (creates the frkn_tuning and frkn_tuning_props tables).
• Add the four items to your inventory and copy the images from itemimg.
• Add ensure qua_dyno and ensure frkn-tuning to your server.cfg.
• Set keys, jobs and handling limits in shared/config.lua.
