Advanced Vehicles

Advanced Vehicles adds mileage, wear and maintenance to owned vehicles. Cars that are not serviced lose performance over time, and mechanics can inspect, service and upgrade them through a NUI menu.

Features

• Mileage: the mileage of each vehicle is saved, so you can see exactly how far you've driven each car
• Car services: vehicles need regular checks; without them they can lose power, the suspension gets worse, the transmission breaks, etc.
• Service items such as engine oil (change every 1500 km), tires (every 8000 km), air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, brake pads, clutch, serpentine belt, shocks and transmission oil
• Upgrades that change the vehicle's handling values and physics, e.g. turbo, suspension levels, race brakes, semi-slick and slick tires; you can configure your own upgrades
• Nitro: installed in the upgrades screen and activated with LEFT ALT (second key configurable); limited charges that recharge over time
• Convert a vehicle to rear-wheel, front-wheel or four-wheel drive
• Maintenance values can be set per vehicle model, with a default for all others
• Everyone can open the /status menu, but only the configured jobs (default: mechanic, police) can inspect, service and upgrade vehicles; inspecting requires a scanner item
• Service history for each vehicle
• Mileage and nitro HUD
• English, German and Brazilian Portuguese language files
• Discord webhook for logs

Notes

• This script does not replace the Los Santos Customs/Benny's script; both can be used together.
• Only the mileage and nitro HUD are included.
• The script only works on owned vehicles. On ESX the plate must be in the owned_vehicles table; on vRP the plate must match the player's RG.
• Optional integration with t1ger_mechanic's car jack and lift (Config.UseT1gerMechanic, enabled by default; set it to false if you don't use t1ger_mechanic).

Installation

• Import SQL/advanced_vehicles.sql (tables for mileage, inspections, services and upgrades) and add the service and upgrade items to your items table; item images are included.
• Copy advanced_vehicles into your resources folder and add ensure advanced_vehicles to your server.cfg.
• Set jobs, items, nitro and maintenance values in config.lua.
