ESX HUD Fix: Speedometer, Fuel and Installation Requirements

The Gellipapa esx_hud-fix repository credits Gellipapa and Rav3n95 and forks lush0n3/esx_hud. Its reviewed manifest is version 1.6.0. This is an ESX HUD with vehicle, status and player information, not a verified universal QBCore or Qbox speedometer.

Install the correct dependencies

The manifest requires es_extended, esx_status and oxmysql. Use the esx_hud resource folder and start its dependencies first. The interface loads web/dist/index.html; follow the repository web build instructions if the downloaded package lacks that output or you edit the interface. Back up the database: the mileage code attempts to add a mileage column to owned_vehicles when its initial query fails.

Match fuel and seatbelt resources

client/vehicle/fuel.lua handles ox_fuel and LegacyFuel. Without either, it returns false and reports that a custom fuel integration is needed. The README requires esx_cruisecontrol for seatbelt support. Adjust config.lua for enabled HUD elements and default units. Interface translations live in web/src/assets/translate.json and require rebuilding the web output after edits.

Verify the HUD on your stack

Use /hud or /togglehud to toggle visibility and /hudsettings to open settings. Check fuel, seatbelt, indicators, saved mileage and both land and aircraft displays with your actual resources. Avoid duplicate HUDs and conflicting engine key bindings. Source inspection establishes these requirements; it does not establish a current-build gameplay test or an FPS improvement.
