Simple ESX Mining Job

A small, easy-to-edit mining job for ESX servers. Players go to the quarry, mine rock with a pickaxe animation and sell what they find. There is no washing or smelting step.

Features

• Three mining spots at the quarry, set in Config.MiningPositions
• Pickaxe prop and swing animation while mining
• Each swing has a chance to give an item (ChanceToGetItem, default 20%)
• Weighted item pool: steel, iron, copper, diamond and emerald (Config.Items)
• One sell point that sells all mined items at once, with a min/max price range per item (Config.Prices)
• Check that stops mining when another player is too close
• All on-screen texts in the Strings table for easy translation

Requirements

• ESX with the classic items table (with a limit column)
• mysql-async

Installation

• The ZIP contains the files without a parent folder. Create a folder such as esx_miningjob in your resources and put the files in it.
• Import database.sql to add the items. Note: the file ends with a comma before the semicolon; remove that comma before importing.
• Add ensure esx_miningjob to your server.cfg.
