Quasar Inventory (QB/ESX)

This is an older version (1.4.2) of Quasar Inventory, a slot inventory based on item metadata for ESX and QBCore. The package contains three resources: qs-core, qs-inventory and qs-shops, plus separate SQL files for ESX and QBCore. There is no Qbox adapter.

Features

• Slot inventory with item metadata, so items can carry their own information.
• Player status (health, armour, hunger, thirst and more) shown in the inventory; configured in config_hud.lua.
• Hotbar.
• Clothing system: clothes become inventory items with metadata.
• Weapons with attachments; images for the weapon attachment screen are included.
• Durability for items you choose, with a duration in seconds per item.
• Stashes, vehicle trunks and gloveboxes, stored in their own tables.
• Shops, player-owned shops and vending machines.
• Garbage containers and stealing from players, as in the previous package review.
• Usable items, commands and Discord logging set up in separate config files.
• Max weight and slots per player (120000 and 41 by default).
• English and Spanish texts.

Requirements

Installation

• Import the SQL file for your framework from [sql]. It creates the tables qs_glovebox, qs_trunk, qs_stash, qs_ammo and qs_customshops; the ESX file also adds a metadata column to users.
• Copy the [inventory] folder into your resources folder.
• Set framework, identifier type and multicharacter options in the config files of qs-core and qs-inventory.
• Start qs-core before qs-inventory and qs-shops.

Replacing an existing inventory is a data migration: compare items, storage tables, weapon data and vehicle inventories before switching. Newer framework versions may need code changes.
