Boss Menu System (Oxlyn Software)

Boss Menu System by Oxlyn Software turns company management on a FiveM server into an in-game desktop computer: bosses hire and fire staff, edit ranks and salaries, pay bonuses, move society money and check timesheets from one interface. It runs on ESX, QBCore and Qbox and can manage several companies from one resource.

What's included

• Company management app: employee list, hiring from the online players, firing, promoting and demoting, adding, renaming and deleting ranks, and a salary per grade.
• Finance tab: society balance, deposits, withdrawals, bonus payments and a transaction log of every money movement, including calls from other resources.
• Timesheet with clock-in and clock-out per employee; on QBCore and Qbox it follows the framework's own on-duty state automatically.
• Desktop-style computer (OxlynOS) with lock screen, per-company user accounts and an optional master account, dock, wallpapers and an App Store; apps include Browser, Notes, Reminders, Calendar, Clock, Calculator and Settings.
• Per-rank access to the company computer, set by the boss in game.
• Admin command /removeboss to demote or fire a boss online or offline, by server id or name, limited by ACE permission, admin groups or an identifier list.
• Server exports for other scripts: AddCompanyFunds, RemoveCompanyFunds, GetCompanyFunds, GetCompanyTransactions, StartDuty, EndDuty, IsOnDuty and GetActiveShifts, plus client exports open and close.
• English and Portuguese locales.

Three apps are pre-installed; other desktop apps are available through the App Store. Job-specific apps shown in commented configuration examples are not included as working job apps.

Requirements and setup

• Framework: ESX Legacy (es_extended), QBCore (qb-core) or Qbox (qbx_core), detected automatically or set with Config.Framework.
• oxmysql is required. The database tables are created automatically on start; there is no SQL file to import.
• Society money: esx_addonaccount on ESX; qb-banking, Renewed-Banking or qb-management on QBCore, with a built-in profile for tgg-banking and a custom option in Config.SocietyBanking.
• Companies, boss grades, ranks and salaries are defined in Config.Companies; the default config ships one example company (LSPD).
• By default the menu opens at a computer location (Mission Row PD in the default config) and the /bossmenu command is turned off (Config.Computer.disableCommand). Interaction can be native, ox_target or qb-target.
• Optional: ox_lib or oxlyn-notify for notifications (otherwise the framework's notifications are used) and a multi-job resource such as wasabi_multijob, which is updated when someone is fired.

Installation

• Copy oxlyn-bossmenu into your resources folder.
• Add ensure oxlyn-bossmenu to your server config after your framework and oxmysql.
• For the admin command, add add_ace group.admin oxlyn_bossmenu.admin allow.
• To use ox_lib notifications, uncomment @ox_lib/init.lua in fxmanifest.lua and start ox_lib first.
• Adjust Config.Companies and Config.Computer.locations to your jobs and maps.

Before going live

In-game computer account passwords are stored in plain text. Do not reuse real account passwords. Configure your companies and access permissions before use. This package has not been tested in game.
