Newspaper Delivery Script

Newspaper Delivery (resource newspaper-job) is a delivery job inspired by the GTA Online Acid Lab deliveries. You get a random delivery area with a set number of drop-off locations and exactly enough newspapers for that area. Drive up to each location, watch for the pink marker, then aim and throw your newspaper into the target zone. Return to the NPC to get paid for your completed deliveries.

Features

• Random delivery areas: a new area each time you start the job. Included areas: Mirror Park, Little Seoul, Grove Street and the beach area.
• Configurable: edit areas, drop-off coordinates and the minimum/maximum payout per area in sv_config.lua; start NPC, blip, bike model and bike spawn in shared.lua.
• No second chances: if you run out of newspapers or miss a target, head back to the NPC and get paid for the deliveries you completed.
• Target support: uses qb-target exports, so it works with qb-target and ox_target.
• An ox_inventory hook blocks newspapers from being placed in gloveboxes, trunks or dropped.
• Bridge files for QBCore, ESX and ND framework.

Requirements

• FiveM game build 2802 (Los Santos Drug Wars) for WEAPON_ACIDPACKAGE
• ox_inventory (required for the newspaper item and the inventory hook)
• ox_lib
• QBCore (bridges for ESX and ND are included)
• qb-target or ox_target

Installation

• Add ['WEAPON_ACIDPACKAGE'] = { label = 'Newspaper', weight = 0, throwable = true }, to ox_inventory/data/weapons.lua under the Weapons section (not items).
• Copy image/WEAPON_ACIDPACKAGE.png to ox_inventory/web/images.
• Start your framework, ox_lib, ox_inventory and your target resource, then add ensure newspaper-job.
• Adjust shared.lua and sv_config.lua to your server.

Important notes

• If players crash or disconnect, newspapers stay in their inventory until they start and end a delivery job, which removes them.
