izzy HUD v5 is a configurable player and vehicle HUD for FiveM with its own notifications and progress bar. The manifest only depends on baseevents; the included README shows how to connect it to QBCore. On other frameworks you have to adapt your notify and progress functions yourself.
addNotification and Progress)shared/cfg.lua; seatbelt, progress, stress and shared files are open for editingThe supplied client code exposes Progress(action, finish) and addNotification(type, title, message, duration). The example below is adapted from the included README: notification calls pass the normalized texttype value, and section labels use Lua comments. Integrate these functions into your QBCore client functions rather than running them as a separate resource.
-- Progress bar
function QBCore.Functions.Progressbar(name, label, duration, useWhileDead, canCancel, disableControls, animation, prop, propTwo, onFinish, onCancel)
exports['izzy-hudv5']:Progress({
name = name:lower(),
duration = duration,
label = label,
useWhileDead = useWhileDead,
canCancel = canCancel,
controlDisables = disableControls,
animation = animation,
prop = prop,
propTwo = propTwo,
}, function(cancelled)
if not cancelled then
if onFinish then
onFinish()
end
else
if onCancel then
onCancel()
end
end
end)
end
-- Notification
function QBCore.Functions.Notify(text, texttype, length)
texttype = texttype == "success" and "success" or texttype == "error" and "error" or "inform"
length = length or 5000
if type(text) == 'table' then
local ttext = text.text or 'Placeholder'
local caption = text.caption or 'Placeholder'
exports['izzy-hudv5']:addNotification(texttype, ttext, caption, length)
else
exports['izzy-hudv5']:addNotification(texttype, texttype == 'error' and 'Error' or texttype == 'success' and 'Success' or 'Notify', text, length)
end
end
-- Stress Events (client side)
TriggerEvent("izzy-hudv5:client:gainStress", math.random(1, 3))
TriggerEvent("izzy-hudv5:client:relieveStress", math.random(1, 3))The manifest declares baseevents and depends on the FiveM asset escrow system (/assetpacks), so your server must be entitled to the resource. Edit shared/cfg.lua for HUD update intervals, compass/location visibility, seatbelt warnings, keybinds, voice ranges and stress settings. The stress calls in the example are client events; they are examples for integration into the relevant gameplay scripts.
