GFX EMP Gun

GFX EMP Gun is a FiveM weapon script by GFX Development. Hit a vehicle with the EMP gun and you can control it from the outside through a menu: engine, lights, locks and even driving it while you stay nearby.

Features

• Custom EMP ammo prop fired by the EMP weapon
• After hitting a car: start and stop the engine, turn the lights on and off, and lock or unlock the doors
• Break the engine (optionally let the vehicle explode with ExplodeVehicle)
• Menu shows engine temperature, fuel level and speed
• Drive the vehicle from outside with the UI buttons or arrow keys while nearby; the supplied client closes the connection when the player is more than 10 game units from the vehicle

Configuration

• DefaultKey: key to open the menu (default Z)
• PlaySound, SpeedMultiplier and the marker list for the marker display
• ExplodeVehicle: explode the vehicle when the engine is killed (default off)
• Locale text for losing the connection
• Fuel and notification adapters in open.lua

The showTime entry belongs to the supplied marker configuration and must not be interpreted as a vehicle-disable duration; no use of that value was found in the supplied client/server code.

Installation

• Copy gfx-emp into your resources folder and add ensure gfx-emp to your server.cfg.
• Adjust the key and options in config.lua and the fuel and notify functions in open.lua.

The manifest declares the FiveM /assetpacks dependency; config.lua, open.lua, client.lua and server.lua are open for editing.
