ESX hunting resource

The supplied fanonx-hunting resource adds hunting, animal harvesting, bait and campfires to ESX servers. The quality of the leather you get depends on the weapon you use and, for perfect quality, on a headshot.

Features

• Animals: deer, boar, mountain lion, coyote, rabbit, cormorant and chickenhawk
• Leather in three qualities (bad, good, perfect), each with its own sell price
• Perfect quality can require a headshot (configurable)
• Meat drops and special items such as deer horns, with configurable chances and amounts
• Footprints, and animals run away when players get too close
• Bait item that attracts deer, boar, mountain lions or coyotes, with an optional blip and a cooldown between baits
• Campfires to turn fresh meat into cooked meat
• Illegal NPC seller for animals marked as illegal in the config
• Only the player who killed an animal can harvest it
• Optional camera animation while harvesting
• Hunting license shown with jsfour-idcard (optional)
• Inventory images for all items and a hunting license image included

Requirements

• ESX
• mythic_notify
• progressBars
• jsfour-idcard (optional, for the hunting license)

Installation

• Import fanonx-hunting.sql. It adds the leather, meat, bait and horn items and the hunt license.
• Copy fanonx-hunting into your resources folder, start the requirements first and then add ensure fanonx-hunting to your server.cfg.
• Add the images from inventoryImages to your inventory resource and review config.lua.
• To show the hunting license, apply the jsfour-idcard changes described in the included README.
