Farmer Simulator is a multi-step farming job: you harvest a field, transport the crops and deliver them by truck. It comes with a tractor and bale trailer vehicle resource.
How the job works
Go to the marked area on the map, change into workwear (optional) and choose a free field to start the job.
Attach the tractor to the bale trailer and drive to the marked field.
At the field, the crops and the harvester are waiting. Park the tractor and get into the harvester.
Harvest all marked crops, move the pile of crops onto the bale trailer and drive the tractor back to the marked starting point.
Park tractor and bale trailer behind the truck's trailer and load the crops onto it.
Get into the truck, attach the trailer and drive to the marked warehouse.
Pick up the crops, deliver them to the warehouse and bring the truck back.
Features
7 fields in total, so 7 players can work at the same time. When a player reaches the truck delivery step, the field is free again for others.
If a player crashes or leaves during the job, all objects they spawned are deleted and the field becomes usable again.
Payment amount and payment to bank or cash set in the config
Optional "easy mode" for the harvester steering (D turns right, A turns left)
Start ped, start point, blips and delivery coordinates editable in config.lua
Languages EN and TR, more can be added in locale.lua
Vehicle resource plt_farmercar with tractor3 (used as the harvester) and a modified baletrailer
Requirements
ESX (the included config.lua uses esx:getSharedObject)
Optional: esx_joblisting or a compatible job center if you use the job requirement
Installation
Copy plt_farmer and plt_farmercar into your resources folder.
Add ensure plt_farmercar and ensure plt_farmer to your server.cfg.
If PLT.jobRequired is true, import farmer.sql (adds the farmer job). With esx_joblisting or a compatible script, the job then appears in your job center; other job centers need to be integrated. If PLT.jobRequired is false, everyone can start the job.
Things you should know
The script spawns bales, crops, harvester, tractor, bale trailer, truck and truck trailer at certain stages. If you move 400 units away, these entities are removed on the client side, and the script can no longer process them when you come back. Because of this, you get a warning at 350 units, and at 375 units all entities are deleted and the job is cancelled.
The harvester is an older model shared on the web, replaced with tractor3; the original baletrailer was replaced after removing the bales on it.
