Evidence Script (DNA) qbCore

An evidence system for cops-and-robbers roleplay on QBCore. Officers from a job grade you set can collect blood splats, bullet shells and fingerprints found in vehicles, have them analyzed and read the result as an evidence report, so detectives can build an investigation from the scene.

• Blood evidence, bullet shell evidence and vehicle fingerprint evidence
• UI evidence report with customizable report information
• Evidence age display (how long ago the action took place)
• Wearing gloves does not leave fingerprints
• Evidence archive: view or delete old evidence at a configurable archive location
• Criminals can destroy evidence, but only after a configurable cooldown (TimeBeforeCrimsCanDestory)
• Rain washes away evidence (evidence in interiors is not affected), can be toggled with RainRemovesEvidence
• Printing sounds and evidence locker design (V2)
• Configurable job (JobRequired, default police), minimum job grade, keys, analysis location and analysis times in config.lua; report texts are edited in html/script.js

The code is not obfuscated, and most settings can be changed in the config.

Installation

• Import ls-evidence.sql (creates the evidence_storage table).
• Place the qb-evidence folder in your resources and add ensure qb-evidence to your server.cfg.
• Adjust config.lua to your jobs and locations.
