Roda Gangs Creator is an ESX gang-management resource by Roderic Aguilar/Roda, published in May 2022. The exact source revision checked is dated May 7, 2022. It includes gang menus, outfits, vehicles and inventory hooks; this does not make it a ready-to-run QBCore resource.
Both client and server obtain es_extended through its export. Clothing uses esx_skin and skinchanger. Config.lua includes ox_inventory, Chezza V3, Quasar and custom inventory hooks, but those old integrations must match your installed APIs. The manifest loads mysql-async while Config.Db defaults to an oxmysql 1.9-era path; reconcile the database adapter and manifest before starting.
Keep the resource name Roda_GangsCreator. Back up the database and inspect insert.sql: it creates roda_gangs and adds gang and gang_grade columns to users. The column additions have no repeat guard, so do not blindly reimport the SQL on an existing installation.
Administrators listed in Config.Admins can open /gangs and use /setgang [playerId] [gangName] [gangRank]. Rank 3 is the boss rank. /mygang reports membership, /reclutemember opens recruitment for a boss, and F5 is the default mapping for /opengangmenu. Language.lua supplies English and Spanish.
The saveAllPoints callback reads four fixed positions: clothing, inventory, garage and boss point. Missing points or a different order can produce nil-value errors. Validate and reset this collection when adapting the editor; forum reports of point-saving failures are not proof that current ESX Legacy is supported.
Admin checks protect creation and some configuration actions, but the handcuff and drag handlers forward client-selected targets without server distance or gang checks. Rank changes, member removal and invitation acceptance also lack the corresponding server authorization or invitation validation. A hidden boss menu does not secure these events.
The member request returns full matching users rows without an own-gang access check, and default ox stashes have no group or coordinate restriction. Limit returned fields and validate possession, roles, targets and proximity on the server. These are source findings; no resource execution, database import or gameplay test was performed.
